Abstract

Objective To understand the clinical significance of tumor necrosis factor-¦Á (TNF-¦Á) and fibrosis indicators (HA, PC¢ó¢ôC) in liver cirrhosis and liver function damage. Methods Radioimmunoassay was used to determine the changes in serum TNF-¦Á, serum HA and PC¢ó¢ôC in 52 patients with post-hepatitis cirrhosis (observation group) and 28 patients with chronic hepatitis (control group). Results The concentration of TNF-¦Á in the serum of 52 patients in the observation group was significantly increased, and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group (P<0.05). The conclusion suggests that TNF-¦Á, HA, and PC¢ó¢ôC play a certain role in the progression of liver cirrhosis.
