Abstract
Abstract Objective To use tissue engineering technology to plant living cells on a biodegradable valve stent to create an ideal heart valve with good tissue compatibility, no need for anticoagulation, repair ability, and lifelong support for patients. Methods A comparative study was conducted on the results of subcutaneous embedding and seeding of cells with collagen membrane and polyglycolic acid/polylactic acid copolymer (PGLA). Results The collagen membrane still maintained its membrane structure after 8 weeks of subcutaneous embedding, and completely degraded in 8 to 12 weeks, and its biocompatibility was better than that of PGLA. Conclusion Collagen membrane is suitable for application as tissue engineering heart valve scaffold material
