Abstract
Objective To detect the relevant indicators of the arthritis model induced by sheep type ¢ò collagen, and analyze the similarities and differences between the relevant indicators of this model and the arthritis model induced by bovine type ¢ò collagen. Methods Animals were immunized with bovine and sheep type II collagen respectively, and the toe volume, arthritis swelling score, serum cytokine detection and joint synovial pathological changes of the two groups of immunized rats were compared. Results: The arthritis model was successfully induced by sheep type II collagen, and there was no statistically significant difference in the success rate of the arthritis model between the sheep type II collagen-induced arthritis model and the arthritis model induced by bovine type II collagen. Among the rats in the sheep type II collagen-induced group, the joint onset time, joint The peak time and degree of swelling were earlier and heavier than those in the bovine type II collagen-induced group. The increase in serum cytokines IL-1¦Â and TNF-¦Á in the sheep type II collagen-induced group was more significant than that in the bovine collagen-induced group (P<0.01). Pathological sections showed that both model groups had inflammatory cell infiltration in the joint synovium, increased levels of synovial cells, and disordered arrangement, but the severity in the cattle group was greater than that in the sheep group.
