Dissolution And Regeneration Properties Of Collagen In Acetate Ionic Liquids

Abstract
Two acetate ionic liquids, 3-methyl-1-ethoxycarbonylmethylimidazole chloride ([etmim]cl) and 3-methyl-1-ethoxycarbonylmethylimidazole bromide ([etmim] br), confirm the chemical structure of the target product through hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1hnmr) and elemental analysis. The solubility abilities of collagen in two ionic liquids were compared, and the effects of four different regeneration reagents on collagen regeneration were discussed, such as deionized water, methanol, ethanol, and acetone. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) analysis was performed on collagen before and after regeneration using ([etmim]cl) ionic liquid as solvent and methanol as regenerant. The results show that both ionic liquids are direct solvents for collagen, and ([etmim]cl) takes longer to dissolve collagen than 1-allyl-3-methylimidazole chloride [amim]cl and 1-butanol. The base-3-methylimidazole chloride [bmim]cl shortened by 15% to 20%. At 140¡ãC, [etmim]cl dissolved collagen with a solid mass fraction of 8% in only 15 minutes. At the same time, the collagen regenerated the structure before and after Nothing has changed.
