Abstract
Objective To study the expression and significance of transforming growth factor ¦Â1 (tgf-¦Â1) and type IV collagen in the renal tissue of patients with chronic transplant nephropathy (can). Methods Immunohistochemistry technology and computer image analysis system were used to observe the transplanted kidneys of 19 patients with can The expression of tgf-¦Â1 and type ¢¤ collagen in the tissue was analyzed, and the relationship between the two and the pathological grade of can was analyzed. Results The expression of tgf-¦Â1 and type ¢¤ collagen in can transplanted kidney tissue was significantly higher than that of normal kidney tissue (p <0.001), and showed a gradually increasing trend with the pathological grade of can; compared with normal renal tissue, the expression of tgf-¦Â1 and type ¢¤ collagen in the glomerulus and tubulointerstitium of can patients was positively correlated (r=0.94, p <0.001 and r=0.910, p<0.001). Conclusion Abnormal deposition of type IV collagen is an important manifestation of fibrosis in the transplanted kidney of can patients.
