Abstract
The adsorption of collagen on the surface of polylactic acid (PLA) was studied using a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). The adsorption process of collagen on the surface of polylactic acid was systematically discussed. The effects of the ionic strength and pH of the buffer solution on the adsorption of collagen were investigated. Influence. The results show that: the adsorption amount of collagen on the surface of polylactic acid first increases and then decreases with the increase of ionic strength. The effect of ionic strength on the adsorption amount of collagen from different sources is obviously different; the pH has a great influence on the adsorption amount of collagen. The adsorption amount is maximum at a pH slightly lower than the isoelectric point; atomic force microscopy (AFM) observation shows that the structure of the adsorption layer of collagen from different sources on the polylactic acid surface is significantly different.
